- Could be any of a number of things, of course. I'll assume you make all
- the normal connection checks (about 90% of all RAMLink problems are
- connection-related).

- If that isn't the case, then it could be that the ROM is faulty --
- different areas of it are used for 64, and if a non-catastrophic ROM error
- occurs, it will generally attempt to warn of the problem by activating the
- ERROR LED. Before we assume that to be the cause, though, I'd do the
- following: Run ZAP SYSTEM (yeah, back everything important up first), and
- at the end of the ZAP, TURN THE COMPUTER OFF for a full 30 seconds.
- Sometimes the Static RAM in RAMLink will retain bogus information after a
- ZAP if you don't power down. After the 30 seconds has passed, power up in
- 64 mode and check to see if the problem still exists. If not, you should
- be all set. If it does, then I can only recommend sending it in, as it
- could be a lot of things, and I don't personally know enough about the
- repair end of things to offer any further advice.
